Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, has been proud to announce its achievement in scientific publications. This year (2022), there are 500 articles produced by bachelor students of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, in the period of 2020 to 2022.
This is a result of all hard work and collaboration in many events and student activities from all the faculty members of the Faculty of Ushuluddin. For instance, final assignments, fieldwork, community service, course assignments, and many others. All articles are the product of individual student research. However, nearly 80% are the results of student research collaboration between lecturer and student.
Furthermore, the target journal is among national journals. Moreover, these student scientific publications have two mechanisms. First, submit articles to scientific journals. Second, by joining a national and an international conference as a presenter.
All articles are published in several different journals and are recorded by Kelas Menulis by Friday, May 20th, 2022. Kelas Menulis is a writing center that has a role in strengthening the academic writing skill capacity. This class was established based on the Dean's Decree on Writing Class Guidelines for the Ushuluddin Faculty of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, on May 29th, 2020.
In addition, in the period of 2020-2022, the Faculty of Ushuluddin UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung has created several student scientific journals. There are “Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Ushuluddin” (JPIU), “Jurnal Riset Agama” (JRA), “Spirituality and Local Wisdom” (SLW), and “Gunung Djati Conference Series” (GDCS).
Dr. Wahyudin Darmalaksana, as a dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, is sending his big appreciation and gratitude for these students’ achievements. Also, he thanks all parties who are willing to help the faculty to achieve this attainment. He said on Saturday, May 21st, 2022, “We are very proud of our outstanding student achievement."
